Ebola research

Recently, Ebola Virus has spread from Africa to other regions like America and even Spain. Ebola is terrifying because the death rate can be up to 90%. Scientists and biologists are putting efforts to ease the condition. What are the current researches on Ebola? Find the information here!

Reflection:

The research provides me a better understanding towards Ebola, which I previously thought of as curable. It is a very sad fact that there is currently no solution to cure Ebola. However, I believe in today’s modern society, the technology is so advanced that scientists will eventually figure out the specific vaccine or drugs to tackle Ebola virus. After all, there are survivors who have been successfully cured. As I came cross an article about the moral principle behind the experiment on non-human primates (monkeys), i was very interested because it is indeed a very controversial topic. In order to find out the drugs and vaccines to save human, is it necessary and right to take experiments on animal?

All in all, I found the project enjoyable and helpful. After I took an effort in researching Ebola, I gained more knowledge in this disease.  I also learnt how to do more complicated job on Prezi.

So, what are the facts about Ebola? What kind of virus is it? How does it spread? Why it is so threatening? Check out more information here:
